Howard Prince has spent nearly his entire life serving others.

At just 16 years old, Howard began his public service journey as a reserve police officer.

That passion for helping people grew into a distinguished career spanning more than 38 years in full-time law enforcement.

Throughout his career, he served with integrity, compassion, and professionalism, earning promotions, lifesaving awards, and the respect of fellow officers and the communities he served.

Howard wasn’t just committed to his profession—he was committed to his community.

For many years, he volunteered countless hours coaching and mentoring youth through baseball, football, basketball, and Boy Scouts.

During the holidays, he helped deliver food to families in need and volunteered to bring Christmas gifts to children whose families were struggling.

Whether he was wearing a badge or volunteering his time, Howard believed that serving others was one of life’s greatest responsibilities.

That same commitment led Howard to pioneer one of Colorado’s early public safety drone programs, using technology to help locate missing people, document crime scenes, and support emergency operations.

Outside of law enforcement, he built a passion for photography and videography, capturing life’s special moments while continuing to serve his community in new ways.
